About Dr. Furnari

Dr. Furnari has been a devoted dentist for more than 30 years. He earned his DDS from Georgetown University in 1986, receiving a certificate for outstanding performance in fixed prosthodontics. He then joined the United States Navy Dental Corp as a Lieutenant, working out of a branch clinic of the Bethesda Naval Dental Command. He then completed a continuum in prosthodontics at the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute.

Utilizing 3D scanning technology, Dr. Furnari specializes in implant dentistry, along with custom cosmetic and restorative solutions. He believes in continuing education, with more than 4000 hours of classes behind him. He is a member of numerous professional organizations such as the Academy of Osseointegration, and he is an active Fellow with the International Academy of Dental Implantologists. Dr. Furnari travels nationally and internationally to teach his cutting-edge techniques to his colleagues.

In his free time, Dr. Furnari enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with a particular emphasis on long-distance running. He is a long-time member of the NY Road Runners Club (NYRR), and he has completed more than a dozen marathons.
